There was a great energy in the room on opening night that was not lost on the audience being that we were celebrating International Women’s Day. The artists brought poignant issues to the forefront in a thoughtful and artistic way.  It was well worth the visit and I enjoyed it very much.

Mother Moon the play is a thought provoking evening of seven playlets exploring the tragedies of emotional and sexual exploitation.  All performances were a credit to the dedication of the directors and players. Musical segments by Alicia Sanchez Ivanich and Laia Kay with guitar and percussion accompaniment set the mood and provided a closing affirmation of hope and were high points of the evening that gave refreshing breaks from the dramatic tension.

The show was a tremendous undertaking and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I hope to see more work from Infusion Stage Productions soon.

Took my daughter to see Mother Moon on International Woman's Day and can't think of a better play to have seen. Some of the parts were funny; some were heartbreaking; all were moving. Some of the skits really reflected our life experiences and some challenged how we perceive bias. I kept mulling over the skit between the college professor and the assistant and my perspective changed on who was the "real victim" in it.. And we both loved the first skit with the young woman arguing with her fears.

I would recommend this play to any woman, to any one that has a daughter or a mother, to everyone!

Mother Moon was an inspiring and very empowering show on the way women are treated and viewed in society. It revealed how women cope with these situations and how we can bring light to serious issues.

The cast did an amazing job through short skits revealing these situations which was very intense in one sense and comical in another. The music was uplifting and reassuring to the way one may feel when encountered with these situations.

I highly recommend seeing this show and being uplifted and feeling empowered to know that one is not alone .
